Cat n Fiddle Tavern

Owner – Dwarf – Jules Brandykeg: A middle aged Dwarf who has connections to the Dwarven clan in StoneHold and to the Southlands.  He has a long dark red beard who is always dressed in working cloths and an apron.

One of the most popular taverns, not only in Jomsborg; but across the Sea of Ice and Fire, is the Cat n Fiddle. One of the most striking features of this tavern is that the walls and ceilings are covered with thousands of mirrors of different sizes. When the tavern is full and a band is playing, the mirrors magnify the performances.

It has been rumored that at this very bar, a magical dancing cat entertained for the patrons, many many many years ago, but obviously that is just an old wives tale, right, as cats can’t dance.  In another more recent and very similar occurrence, on a night of great merriment, a large jar of Stonedale pickles was passed around and magical pickles were handed out to the patrons.  No clear memories of the night exist and what little people do remember is that of a black cat with red demonic eyes dancing in the tavern that night.  These strange memories and a permanent green pickle brine stain is all that remain of that night.  Some now say the tavern is haunted.

Red Belly Snapper Stew5spFamous Stew known throughout the Northlands made from a Red Belly snapper that can be found in abundance in the unnaturally warm waters just off the town of Jomsborg.  Similar to a thick chowder this wonderful stew fills your belly and your senses with wonderful tastes and aromas.
Dwarven Dragon’s Breath Ale 2spDragon Breath Ale is very strong dark brown ale and it has a burning sensation as it goes down.  One of the great benefits of the ale is that the ale is very gassy and “releasing the dragon’s breath” (burping) is part of the fun.  Some drinkers of the beer will try and hold the gas down in the attempt to release something epic.
Stonedale PickleNot for sale at this time.
Moljnir Cider2spFamous red apple cider from the Temple of Moljnir.  This cider is very strong and a great for mixing with other alcohols.
Elsenorian Ale3spFrom the Southlands, the world reknown ale is one of the finest in the lands.  The suttle hints of hops and barley make this a crowd favorite.
Lif Elven Summer Wine1gpMade from some of the finest grapes in all the lands. This fine red wine hails from the South and the Elven Kingdom of Lif.  One of the niceties in life!
