Of Dwarves and their founding

The Awakening

It has been said that in the primordial age of the world, when creation was still in its infancy, the Earth Serpent channeled the echoes of the universe’s birth to create Dwarves. The Earth Serpent performed a sacred ritual known as the “Stone Blessing” and in using its immense power over the earth, the serpent infused the living rock with the essence of life.  In this moment of cosmic convergence, the energies of creation coalesced within the living rock blessing it with the essence of life, shaping it into the forms of the five dwarven fathers. This event marked the beginning of the dwarven civilization and is known as The Awakening.
