The ancient citadel fortress of Stonehold was at one point in time the home of the Valmaran sorcerer, Kallous Vich. Now the fortress is ruled by the Dwarves of Stonehold whom have built an elaborate lock system that allows ships to pass up and down the river from the Sea of Ice and Fire to Lake Vostok.
